Coaching

Whether you’re a Miler or a Marathoner, a Newbie or a Veteran, chasing a goal is one of the most rewarding experiences. No matter your age, experience, abilities, or life story, your journey is worth the time. We would love to be part of that journey and help you chase whatever goals you choose. No matter what, we hope to help create a healthy love of the sport and instill the confidence needed to reach your highest potential.

My Story

Owner and Coach of Run4Acozz, Andie Cozzarelli, utilized her own story as the basis for the Run4ACozz coaching philosophy and mission.

Much of her personal athletic career involved a lack of confidence that ultimately caused a lot of ups and downs in her training. A history of undereating, overtraining, and difficulty finding balance, taught her a lot about what is needed in a successful training cycle. Training requires an enjoyment of the process, not just a focus on the outcomes!

Run4ACozz Coaching Philosophy

We believe training should be individualized. Every athlete is different so what works for one, may not work for another. Training is just as important as recovery and without one you cannot have the other. Balancing hard days with recovery days, prioritizing sleep & nutrition, and making time for strength & mobility exercises are all essential for preventing injury. Seeing improvement is a process that takes time and patience. We love working with athletes that are looking to reach their potential and/or just want to learn to love the sport again. Part of our goal with anyone we are working with is to help them manage the mental aspects of running. Finding ways to internally motivate them and help them become well-rounded in all aspects of life.

Becca came to the sport on a pretty unconventional path. She was a competitive dancer looking to stay in shape after college and stumbled into running. She ran on and off for many years before signing up for a half marathon on a whim. She's been hooked ever since!

Becca has run over twenty half marathons, countless smaller races, and finally tackled the marathon distance this past year. She absolutely LOVES the running/fitness community and the knowledge she's gained since she began running. Her passion for the sport has grown over the years, which led her to pursue run coaching. Her goals are to give back to the sport that's given her so much while helping others who are looking to return to running, who are new to the sport and need guidance, or who are looking for a race day plan to take the guesswork out of training. She can't wait to be a part of your fitness journey and help you to achieve your goals!

  • Specializes in strength training plans, from beginner to advance, that compliment busy running schedules

  • Experience working with athletes new to strength training, athletes who want to take their strength to the next level, and postpartum women

Tracie developed a love of strength training later in life, after countless running injuries derailed her from her goals. Over the years, she had completed many races ranging from the 5K to the marathon, but always felt she fell short of her potential. After a serious hip fracture during the 2014 Boston Marathon, which left her with a metal implant in her left hip, she knew something had to change.

After a full recovery and two babies later, she decided to pick up the weights and has never looked back. A running history that was once plagued with injuries, has been consistent for years, and at the age of 40, she is running faster than ever before. Tracie believes we all have the right to feel strong in our bodies, and that by adding strength training to our running routine, we can avoid injuries, maintain consistency, and achieve goals we once thought impossible. When she isn’t running or lifting, Tracie is spending time with her family, volunteering at her children’s elementary school, writing, and planning her next destination marathon. Tracie believes running and strength training are a metaphor for life, and that by combining the two, we can better navigate life’s ups and downs.
