Orange, Ginger, & Turmeric Roasted Caulifower with Neomega Oil

After testing out the avocado oil last week I was dying to get my hands on Neomega's Avocado Oil infusions. I had tried quite a few of the options at a tasting and was in love! I had a sample bottle of the basil infusion which, having recently returned from Italy, was right up my alley. I could use it for a caprese salad, drizzling it over the fresh cheese and sliced tomato, or I could use it in a nice pesto, so many possibilities! But what I most interested in trying was the Orange Ginger Turmeric Infusion. Ginger and Turmeric are great in reducing inflammation and aiding in digestion, two things runners must have! This recipe was my first test and this is out it turned out!

Gen-UCAN Banana Pancakes

Lately I have been on a mission to make UCAN not only a drinkable pre-workout, post-workout, or general snack, but an edible one as well. I started with some simple UCAN Peanut Butter balls which I eat as a snack or pre/during run fuel. I then modified a new favorite banana pancake recipe by Cookie & Kate and this was the result!

Norm's Farms Immune Boosting Overnight Oats

After coming down with a chest cold in the week before the trials I was not going to let the same thing happen before Indy Monumental. Two of my coworkers came down with bad colds and I was paranoid I would end up in the same boat. So I did three things: I got at least 8 hours of sleep each night, carried disinfectant wipes with me around the office, and added elderberry jam and wellness syrup to my overnight oats.
