Norm's Farms Immune Boosting Overnight Oats
After coming down with a chest cold in the week before the trials I was not going to let the same thing happen before Indy Monumental. Two of my coworkers came down with bad colds and I was paranoid I would end up in the same boat. So I did three things: I got at least 8 hours of sleep each night, carried disinfectant wipes with me around the office, and added Norm's Farms elderberry jam and wellness syrup to my overnight oats.
Taking care of your immune system is key to preventing illness. I did my best to wash any shared surfaces before touching them however considering the number of things we touch each day and the number of times we touch our faces or mouths without even realizing it, this wouldn't save me. Norm's Farms Overnight Oats
- 1/4 cup gluten-free rolled oats
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp peanut butter powder
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt (Chobani or Siggi's for their low sugar content)
- 2 tbsp cashew milk (or your milk of choice!)
- 1 tbsp Norm's Farms Elderberry Jam
- 1 tsp. Norm's Farms Elderberry Wellness Syrup
- Put all ingredients in a mason jar or tupperware contianer.
- Mix together thoroughly and then place in the fridge overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Enjoy as a healthy high protein breakfast or mid afternoon snack!
