Each season is a new season. What happened in the past is in the past and while I can learn from past experiences I cannot rest on them. Each season has the potential to build on the previous but only if I do my part. All that being said, I focus on goal setting to focus my attention on what lies before me. Southen Bird Camp Reflection

The very first Regional Bird Camp was even better than expected. Upliiting and rewarding, I will forever treasure my experiences with these 18 women. I shared my story but the stories these women shared with me were the inspiring ones. I have been running competitively for about 10 years but I am constantly learning. The moments I shared with these ladies taught me more about myself and left me eager to compete. This is my recap.

Here's to 2015 - This is the year I Run Confidently

Last fall was a big step for me in my post-collegiate career but last fall was last fall and its now 2015. I can't rest on previous accomplishments and I cant expect for this season to come easy. I like to feel like each season I am starting from scratch working my way back up from nothing with no expectations just goals. So now after a long holiday season of family and lots and lots of eating..I am now regaining my focus and getting my butt back in the gym. To take it a step further I purchased myself one of Lauren Fleshman's Believe Training Journals to push myself a bit further. If there is one thing I have learned from my tough year last year its goal setting and planning! So what's up for this spring?
